Orchestra

Students progress through a carefully designed curriculum that offers a variety of opportunities to develop their skills and musicality. Upon completing Suzuki Book 1 and a Beginning Note Reading book, students are invited to join our elementary level orchestra on Mondays. This ensemble experience serves as an excellent introduction to collaborative music-making and provides a solid foundation for further growth.

As students advance through the Suzuki method and complete Book 3 and an Elementary Reading Book, they are ready to join our intermediate level orchestra, which also meets on Mondays. This ensemble offers a more challenging repertoire, encouraging students to further refine their playing techniques and sight-reading abilities.

For our most advanced students, those who have begun Suzuki Book 5 and completed two Reading Books with fluency, we offer a higher level of string orchestral playing on Fridays. This advanced ensemble exposes students to more complex and demanding music, fostering a deep understanding of various styles and techniques, and ultimately preparing them for a lifetime of musical enjoyment.
