“In our five years of being involved with the Fort Wayne Suzuki program, I don’t recall one time where I saw kids putting each other down or picking on someone. The atmosphere has been wonderful. It’s been a positive experience for our whole family, even though we only have one child in the program. It lends itself well to homeschooling philosophies, with parents being part of the learning process and families being invited to various group activities throughout the year. We found the teachers to be very positive and supportive with the kids, as well as being excellent instructors.”
“We moved to the Fort Wayne area in 1997 and began looking for a violin program in which our oldest three children (ages 7, 6, and 5) could continue their violin study. Eventually, all nine children were involved in the FWSTE program. Three have continued playing their instruments professionally and the other six perform and/or enjoy playing for their own pleasure. The level of instruction and provided opportunities were exceptional. An additional perk, included the deep and lifelong friendships that developed and have continued to the present. Many of our family’s dearest friends are those who we first met in FWSTE.”
